Student Data: identifiers, submissions, grades, progress metrics (uploaded by teachers).

To provide AI-generated lessons, marking, progress analytics, and platform functionality.

Processing is based on contractual necessity, legitimate interests, and consent (where integrations apply). Schools act as data controllers; LexAssist acts as a data processor.

Submissions may be processed by AI systems to generate grades and feedback.

We use encryption, secure cloud hosting, access controls, and audit logs.

Data may be shared with secure hosting providers, payment processors, AI infrastructure providers, and integration partners under contractual safeguards.

Data is retained while accounts are active and deleted within 30–90 days of account termination.

Students access Cognify only via teacher accounts. Schools are responsible for ensuring lawful data upload and parental consent where required.

Cognify education may update this policy and will notify users of material changes.
